CRS418-8P-8G-2S+RM یک سوئیچ رک‌مونت 1U با ۱۷ درگاه گیگابیتی اترنت، دو درگاه 10G SFP+ و پردازنده چهار‌هسته‌ای 2.2 گیگاهرتزی است. هشت درگاه اترنت آن خروجی PoE دارند و یک درگاه مدیریتی گیگابیتی نیز اتصال مستقیم به پردازنده دارد.

این دستگاه دو ورودی برق AC، چهار فن و توان خروجی PoE مجموعاً تا ۱۵۰ وات دارد. درگاه USB 3.0 Type-A برای اتصال حافظه یا ابزارهای پیکربندی در نظر گرفته شده است.
