روتر اترنت MikroTik hEX PoE lite با پنج درگاه اترنت و یک درگاه USB 2.0 در محفظه‌ای پلاستیکی عرضه می‌شود. این دستگاه از RouterOS با مجوز سطح ۴ بهره می‌برد.
درگاه‌های Ether2 تا Ether5 خروجی Passive PoE دارند و می‌توانند دستگاه‌های سازگار را با همان ولتاژ ورودی روتر تغذیه کنند. محدودیت جریان هر درگاه در حالت ولتاژ پایین ۱ آمپر و حداکثر جریان کل خروجی ۲ آمپر است.
تغذیه دستگاه از طریق جک DC یا ورودی PoE انجام می‌شود. سیستم‌عامل از پیش نصب و دارای مجوز است؛ آداپتور برق ۲۴ ولت ۲٫۵ آمپر و کابل برق IEC نیز در اقلام همراه ذکر شده‌اند.
